VODACOM FIBRE INSTALATION/ACTIVATION PROBLEMS

I app**** on the 5th of Feb at Vodacom4u Kolonade for my fibre. Firstly there was a week delay cause they made a copy from my drivers and not my ID but neglected to let me know till I followed up. A week after Openserve arrived but needed a pole installed. Therefore another week and a half passed before my fibre line was installed. Now Vodacom....They arrived to install the modem on the 1st of march. The Technician advised he needs to log a problem as there is fault with open serves unit. I called Monday to follow up but no fault was logged. As i was on the phone my interim router arrived after my fibre(app**** same day). I called everyday to try and get either unit activated but nothing. After about a week and talking to a manager my interim router worked, but still no fibre. Its now 41 days since application with no fibre and I've logged SR numbers numerous times and called daily. They talk about 21 days max to install from application(41 now) and 24-48h to activate router((18 days now) SR 190 313-298 830 was my last log 6 days ago for router config....nothing has been done!!!

Thx for the speedy web reply. Just a shame thats where it stopped once again. nobody has been in contact once again. The poor guy in your call centre called me 3 times to find out if someone has made contact. Even he gave up trying to get his own company to respond and he works there. How are the customers suppose to get any service(maybe you should make him the service manager). At least he tried. This is so pathetic its actually funny. Worst fibre or any line installation ever. Beating Telkom at being the worst is quite an achievement. Well done!!!

Ok. So my fibre is connected. BUT....not thanks to Vodacom as they read out my router MAC numbers and instructed me to switch the LTE router with the FIBRE router about 8 days ago. I was confident I had the right router connected to the right thing as thats how it was installed by the technician. But who am I to argue. So we swapped them and that afternoon my LTE worked but not the fibre. I downloaded the app for fibre yesterday and noticed the LTE router said pending and the Fibre router said connected. So today I thought I should swop them around cause it made no sense according to the app. SO PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANYMORE CHANGES AS ALL IS WORKING AS IT SHOULD!!! How nobody could pic this up is beyond me.......
