Vodacom Fibre Flop company

Vodacom Fibre must be the worst ISP for Fibre services around. For the past 3 years, not once have i skipped my monthly payment to them, for my Fibre service. However, that record counts for f*c*all with Vodacom. I have had disconnection issues with my Fibre connection since the 16th of May 2023. Despite several following up phone calls to their customer service, I've had no feedback from them, nor has anything been done to resolve the my problem. They rather kept closing all my follow up tickets, without any explanation. I can no longer stay with this pathetic ISP. I will soon be searching for another service provider. Vodacom should never have entered the Fibre Internet service sector. What a flop of an ISP.

On the 22nd May 2023, a Vodacom support staff member, named Thando, sent me an email, telling me that he or they are attending to the service request that i lodged on the 16th May 2023. However, when i followed up the progress on the service request the next day, the 23rd May 2023, by placing a call to their customer care centre, i was informed that the support ticket had been closed. I was naturally astonished by this news. No notification was sent to me and presently the problem still exists. What astounded me is that the i had to lodge another service request for the same issue all over again and start off the same merry go round . This situation highlights the sheer incompetence of the Vodacom support staff. How on earth can you fix such faults from behind a desk!!!! I think it is time to block my monthly contract payment to force Vodacom to fix my fibre line before they get paid. This is totally unacceptable.

Hi. I want to take the time to respond to your feedback. First, how did your tech determine that i am using an old desktop? Did your tech open up my computer or did he at least check my computer's specifications? Your tech never touched my computer, so i find it very hard to believe, that at a glance, he could determine that i am using an old desktop to play online games. For your and your tech's information, online games demand a high level computer system and as such, these types of computers are much more superior then what you are probably using at your desk. Therefore, in your techs opinion, if he suggests that i am using an old desktop, what then, would he call the computer that is sitting on your desk? Perhaps antic??
The fact that i offered to change the PIC was not an acknowledgment, that my "Old desktop" is the problem. I am merely doing it to eliminate perhaps another possible cause of the problem. That is common sense. Your tech should know the procedure. It seems your tech guys are not necessarily the sharpest pencils in the stack.
