Vodacom fibre down for more than 1 week and totally ghosted by techs

My home fibre went down during the night between 2 and 3 April. I logged a ticket on 3 April but never got a response. I then resorted to phone and log a ticket on 4 April. Ticket reference SR***. Call centre agent was helpful and we did some troubleshooting and the outcome was that a technician must be sent. I have had 3 appointments since then but was totally ghosted on each. Spoke to call centre again last night for third time who promised it will be escalated and handled, but no feedback yet. So now I am ghosted by the call centre again. Why am I being treated this way, I do not know. I have been a Vodacom customer for almost 30 years non stop and have 5 sim accounts plus fibre with them. Seems since they have such monopoly they do not really care about their clients as they say they do. Very dissappointed and still without fibre after more than a week.

Vodacom, even your replies here amount to nothing. I got a call yesterday from someone at Vodacom who first wanted to find out if my fibre is still not functioning. Basically enquiring if it is still an active ticket or not. She seemed amazed that it was still unresolved. She once again promised that a technician will contact me yesterday or today to schedule an appointment. Well, today is almost over and once again, nothing.

The biggest problem I have with customer care centres are that nobody gets ownership of the issue. The ticket simply moves from one person to another and all they care about is that they perform an action, but nobody takes ownership that it actaully gets done.

How long Vodacom do you want to continue playing this game of passing it on? Is someone going to be big enough to actually action this problem? In the meantime I am paying for extra data I have to purchase, plus my fibre subscription with no service. I guess it does not pay for you to actually resolve this issue as it generates extra income for you.

I am so frustrated and disappointed right now.

Still no reply Vodacom? What is the process to cancel my fibre subscription. I recently renewed my subscription for 24 months, but clearly you do not want to support it anymore, so what is the process to cancel it, or is that going to be a struggle as well?
