Vodacom Fibre Down For A Whole Week

3 September 2019, waking up and found that my fibre wasn’t working. I contacted vodacom and said I should wait 48 hrs, 48 hrs passed and nothing happened. 3 technicians were sent to my place and all they did was take photos and told me it’ll be done remotely I should just sit and hope that it’ll be fine. Making matters worse the technicians left before their job was completed and said they were sent to another job and they’ll configure remotely. Problem still wasn’t fixed on Friday after configuration was done. Saturday I visited Vodacom World in Midrand and the fibre department was called from their side and said we should give them until Monday to resolve it and if Monday it isn’t resolved they’ll give us an alternative such as a free LTE router. Monday came, 9 September 2019, no issue was resolved, no technicians were sent out yet I went to vodacom world 3 times yesterday. It’s been a week with fibre. No issue is resolved, no alternative has been done, I even told them to cancel my contract and still no contract has been cancelled even after such poor service. The only thing that I’m told is that the issue is being escalated and we just have to discuss the issue with everyone since there is accountability nor responsibility. I spoke to the Fibre department manager Phindile and he was just rude and told me he’ll send an email to the person in charge (Michelle Nicole Moyo) when I told him that he should provide us with an alternative solution. Yesterday another lady promised me 50 gigs of data yesterday and still didn’t get that. If this matter is being escalated by every person from Vodacom that i talk to, by now it would have reached Alan Knott-Craig’s home.
