Vodacom Fibre Does It Again

After creating a Facebook page that garnered over 500 participants and more than five hellopeter complaints, you would think Vodacom now acts professionally.

All of the above was to just get connected to Fibre. It took that much just to get Vodacom to activate internet on my Vodacom router.

And now here we go again. Last week Friday I requested a migration from a 4Mbps line to a 20Mbps line. The consultant who created the sales order said it would take 2 -48hrs to get this done. This was also confirmed by another consultant I spoke to on Monday who also said it would take 2-48hrs to complete the Service Request

Its now been more than 48hrs and I decided to call in again. This time, I spoke to a consultant who seemed she did not know what she was doing and blatantly told me it would take TWO WEEKS to complete a migration. Like seriously what the ****?

I asked this consultant (unfortunately I did not get her name) what steps were being taken to migrate my package from 4Mbps to 20Mbps. She then said to me I would not understand because it was technical. This is stupidity and incompetency at its best. I told her I am a Computer Engineer by profession and demanded to know these so called technical steps. She then started reading them out - and sounded as if she did not do Matric. Are these the kinds of people Vodacom Fibre puts in their call centres?

So here we are today. On Hellopeter. Again.

So shall I re-activate my Facebook page to boycott Vodacom Fibre and Vodacom Services?

Pathetic.
