Vodacom Fibre Data Issue

In May 2021 I moved premises from Bryanston to Lyme Park where I requested my fibre installation to be moved to the new premises. This process was very poorly handled with next to no customer service even when I called in for updates until I threatened to cancel which got some action but still took longer than the 30 day relocation timeline.

When the new installation was done we started to use around 650GB per month where we used to only use 250GB per month. I have queried this with Vodacom on multiple occasions since June 2021 where I just get a report from a senior technician detailing where the data was used and closing my ticket. I have checked the users on my router and it is only myself and my wife which is the same as the previous premises and I have changed my router password numerous times. Half of the websites that Vodacom tells me I am using I have never used in my life, especially the gaming and bit torrent websites. I have queried this with Vodacom and they have been less than helpful and just closed the ticket and the issue is not resolved. The high usage is definitely affecting my fair use policy as we can see the decline in the speeds.

Over December holidays I was away from the 15th December 2021 to 3rd January 2022 where I turned off my router and unplugged it but yet there was still excessive usage allocated to my profile. I did this to prove that there is something not right with my data allocation on my fibre profile but Vodacom wants nothing to do with it.

After many attempts, calls, tickets and complaints over the last 7 months I am no closer to getting my issue with Vodacom fibre resolved and I even approached Vumatel in which I got told they cannot help and I must speak to my ISP.

A senior technician by the name of Brandon has responded as made very clear in my complaint he did not resolve the issue and just closed the ticket. This is the kind of response I am getting sick of, no-one is trying to help sort out the issue and the only way to make this issue go away is to cancel with Vodacom because they obviously have no interest in my business.
