VODACOM FIBRE CONTRACTOR RACKET

The fibre in our whole street was down last week, only my line was working. Everyone submitted service requests and the technicians attended to their issues on Monday this week. As soon as the technicians left everyone else was up and running however they disconnected my line. Thinking that it is just a matter of getting the guys back to sort out the line I called up vodacom and have been getting the run around for 3 days now. They refuse to give out the contractor number, they keep promising feedback and that the contractor would be in touch. To me this is not a network or infrastructure issue it is a deliberate racket by the contractor to get continued business from vodacom at the expense of paying customers. We are working from home currently and it is infuriating to have a contractor mess up a working line and then be unreachable to expedite the repair of a problem that he caused. Call centre is hopeless and of no help and Ridwaan Duccat hides behind them to be unreachable and not being held accountable for his mess. I have yet to receive any correspondence regarding the repair, refund for downtime and reimbur*****t of additional data purchases during this period. Needless to say paying premium for service seems to mean nothing.
