Vodacom Fibre bleeding customers dry
Yes I am 100% on vodacom's case accross all platforms now because they are literally on the brink of taking food off my table with their "automatic upgrades due to price increases".
On the 14th of Feb I was sent an email stating my fibre line will be pushed up to 75mbps line at almost double what I was paying as the 20mbps was no longer available, I disputed it due to the fact that I literally can't afford it. I was then told I could move up to a 25mbps at a smaller increase, which I accepted and signed off on the 18th of Feb.
Today I received another email about being pushed up to the 75mbps line and was told this time by the consultant that it's a general price increase, which I know is bull****, because he backtracked after looking at my previously raised and closed ticket and raised a new 1 for "line downgrade".
I have checked the metrofibre and vodacom websites and the 25mbps line I just signed off last month is available on both sites.
I have a billing ticket that was just raised which will most likely lead to me signing the same new downgrade contract I did last month, which makes no sense, as this was already done.
I'm edging closer to moving to a new service provider at this rate.
I expect prioritised feedback regarding this matter as I simply cannot afford to be debited more than what I just signed on for.
There is no patience from my side regarding this matter.
This whole song and dance need not have happened at all if you all would keep to your side of the signed agreement we made last month over the exact same issue.
Someone on your side is either not taking the new signed quote and agreement into account and willingly trying to force an upgrade after the fact.
Or everything that was done about this last month wasn't recorded which is equally ****my.
I will not be patient regarding this matter, nor will I be cordial as this is clearly an attempt from vodacom to bleed a customer.
