Vodacom Fibre and general customer service is of very poor standards

I have had the worst service from Vodacom Fibre. I had a fibre internet connection at my house for over a year now with a ISP that operates in the estate where I live. I was contacted by Vodacom a few weeks ago to offer me a fibre internet connection. After I informed them that I already have a connection they asked me on which infrastructure the connection was. They subsequently offered me a lower price on the same infrastructure and ensured me that the service would be the same. The service was my only concern, as I would not be dealing with a 3rd party provider and not directly with the infrastructure owner. My internet connection was turned of at the end of March by my then supplier after I requested this. I have now been trying to get Vodacom to activate my service for over 2 weeks with no success. I was also told last week that I would be phoned back by a supervisor after I complained for the third time - I am still waiting for that phone call.

So if you are thinking of taking Vodacom up on their Fibre internet service....make sure you are not reliant on your internet connection being setup quickly.

I am absolutely disgusted in their service, and I am seriously considering also changing my mobile service provider to another network. They have no idea that service is. I have had many problems with my cellphone billing as well which I will not include in this review.

Vodacom you need to urgently review the way you service customers, it is very difficult and nearly impossible to resolve queries with your company.
