Vodacom Fiber service appalling

I moved into an estate in Harties a week ago. The Vodacom connection into the estate is absolutely **********. Everybody is complaining and numerous complaints have been lodged with Vodacom to correct the service. There are around 400 houses in the estate. We have been using the Internet for a few days since our arrival now and it has almost been off more than it has been on. everybody there is complaining about this but Vodacom seems to think that it is OK to take people's money for a service that they are NOT providing. I demand that somebody from Vodacom investigates and corrects the situation else I will make sure that they are reported to the competition commission for not allowing other fiber SP's to come into the estate. My next step will most certainly be the competition commission and will go even higher if I have to. Working from home is providing my livelihood and they are putting this in jeopardy at the moment. I will be paying good money to have a seamless internet service and this is honestly not acceptable. Vodacom, you should be ashamed of yourself!!!

It has now been 3 days and not a single attempt has been made to contact me. In the meantime the connection to the Internet has been extremely unstable...to such an extent that I had to drive elsewhere to work. I have been a client of Vodacom for more than 25 years, where not even one payment of my contract was skipped, and in the meantime took out numerous other contracts with them. I will be sure to NOT renew any contracts when they become due and will ensure that the connection to this estate (Bushveld View) will be moved to a different provider as soon as possible. Vodacom will probably only feel it when +- 300 households make use of another service provider for their connectivity. I'm sure that Vodacom doesn't need the +- R200K a month that people from this estate pay to them. this is utterly rediculous...in a time when "work from home" has never been more important one would think that they would jump at the opportunity to impress with a stable line and great service...instead i have forked out at least R300 in airtime holding for their call center to report the instability, with no results coming from that.

it has been 3 weeks since my initial complaint. I had one phone call where the agent asked me to reply to his email which he would send for certain information that they needed. I did this immediately upon receipt of the mail, just to find that the address could not be rep**** to. I've spent hours on the phone to them to try and sort out my fiber issues. I eventually got to an agent called Rene (she was exceptionally helpful, but could only do what she could) who escalated my query (SR***). i then called to follow up again a day or 2 later, just to hear that an technician was booked for Friday 24 Dec at 14:00. we adjusted our plans to be available for the afternoon, but nobody pitched. Not even a phone call to apologise for not being able to make it. We have had no internet for the past 4 days!!! Is this really the standard of service to be expected from a supposed world class organization like Vodacom? surely there must be somebody working there that can understand the frustration and be able to do something to sort this problem out?? Not only is the main line unstable, but it seems that the actual installation to my house might be faulty. i will be posting this as a new complaint as well seeing that Vodacom doesn't read replies on previous posts. In addition to this every single call (except the one with rene) was disheartening to say the least...no empathy and no apology from any of the people I spoke to. What measures do I have to resort to to get any action out of this *********** organization??? i am paying money for their services and not receiving any value for my money at this point in time. Do i really have to resort to complaining on every social media platform available?? seems my calls to their call center is falling on deaf ears.
