Vodacom fiber is a company of broken promises and *****

Since the 31st March my fiber has been down. I work from home so the loss of my internet for 14 days has been terrible. I first logged a service request SR*** on the 01st April and after speaking to about 10 different call center agents who only able to “escalate” the request, my service request was closed with no explanation. I was forced to open a new request SR*** on the 6th April. I have spoken to at least 20 different people - 1 of them was a manager who promise to phone me with a solution. Not one of those people ever did. Some of the agents refused to even transfer me to a manager. At least 3 calls was over 40 min long as I waited to speak to a manager. After 40 min the agent would confirm my cell number and promised the manager would call me. They never did. I once asked an agent for the complaints number. He gave me ***. I asked him to confirm this is the complaints number and he said yes. When I phoned the number it was the corporate switchboard and the lady said there is no complaints department. Yesterday I spoke to Sibo who told me that Gugu would contact me by 7pm. He also gave me his email address. Gugu didn’t phone me and Sibo is now ignoring my emails. Today I spoke to Thuli who told me that Margaret is dealing with my SR. I asked to speak to a manager and I waited 32 min. Thuli then confirmed that the manager Cheslyn will phone me within 24 hours but hopefully today still. The culture at Vodacom fiber is extremely toxic. They do not care about their customers at all. Unfortunately the cancellation takes 1 calendar month and they will not release my line to another provider who is willing to provide me with the service. So I am held hostage by Vodacom. As we know as well I will have to still pay for the month even though I have had no service. If I don’t they will black list me / affect my credit and hand me over. Is this fair or right Vodacom? How would you feel if you were me?
