Vodacom fiber has zero customer service and employees have zero urgency

So the normal procedure when you cancel your fibre contract with Vodacom is that you give them a calender month notice. We followed this route and on the 30th, I call them because my line was due to be released on the 1st. To my shock, I realized that the job card wasn't even created N the consultant who was helping me then created it.

I called again on the 1st and initially they said it was still pending and we then went back and forth for the whole weekend. Monday I call them again and the well trained consultants did what they Do Best and told me they were so sorry and that they were escalating the matter. I was told this script by 3 consultants and a supervisor who called me last night. She also informed me that today (05/07/2022), my line would be released by 09:00, which I didn't believe of course. Today I just called them and again I was told " we are sorry for the inconvenience, Sir" and the matter was escalated.

In the meantime I don't have internet connection, which means I cannot work and apparently there is no one senior enough at Vodacom to help resolve my matter. At the centre of this whole thing is Sinovuyo Peter, who is supposed to release my line and no one at Vodac seems to be able to get th to do their Job.

While we all have the right to use our money the way we want, when you deal with Vodacom, remember that you are only important to them when you are making them money.

Reviewer Update
Morning,

I would be at least a bit comforted if I felt that Vodacom put a bit of effort into resolving my issue. Unfortunately, I fought until the very end for something we shouldn't have fought about.

I doubt I will ever put my money into Vodacom even though that won't make much difference to your bottom line. I aim to also advise those close to me to stay far away from Vodacom because we are only valuable customers when we are making you money.

Kind Regards,

Dakalo
