Vodacom fiber - effortless and fantastic

I wanted to use one of the smaller ISPs to provide me with fiber internet access. I knew that they will be more expensive and that I wont get the same "freebies" as with a bigger company. This particular smaller ISP dropped the ball after 4 weeks and I decided to contact Vodacom.

I was on the Vodacom website on a Monday at 19:30. At 19:45 Moses Montso phoned me and explained how the procedure will work - he was very professional. The next day Vumatel called me to schedule the installation for Friday morning. On Thursday Vodacom delivered the router to my house via RAM couriers. Friday morning Vumatel's installation team arrived to install the box in my house. A second Vumatel team then arrived to do the "splicing" from the outside box. After the Vumatel technicians left I phoned Vodacom to activate the service. 5 minutes later I was getting 50mbps.

I received all of the above without needing to make a payment as yet. A Vodacom representative answered each of my calls within a minute. Email communication was clear and they hit all their deadlines.

Getting my fiber installed and connected through Vumatel and Vodacom was effortless.
