VODACOM Fiber Downgrade line speed as they like
Well what can I say. I had my Vodacom Fiber line upgraded to a 200/200 line and it took as normal 7 days+ for completion and after that still had some issues and Vodacom send out the Tech to my address twice and was resolved. Well a week after everything was running normally my line speed was reduced to a 50/25 for what ever reason. I phoned in and was told that I was part of the batch downgrade without any NOTICE. Well phone in and questioned Vodacom and they said they don't know why I was down graded WOW well you did it isn't it. They said that they will rectify it and this call was on 14/05/2024 and was told that the change will take affect within 24 to 72 hours. Well phoned in again on 17/05/2024 as the line speed was still not changed, they told me that all is in order and will be done. Well 18/04/2024 nothing line speed still 50/25, phoned in again and the specific department is closed today and the technical department told me that the order is still pending SO***, why is this a new order as I am continuing on my old/existing deal breaker contract. If Vodacom can reduce my line speed withing 24 hours why cant they rectify their mistake within 24 hours. But I must give 30 days notice to cancel my contract but they can do what they want. I really think the other ISP handle their customers way better, I am really considering to convince all my friends and family to move away from Vodacom Fiber because they just don't care about their customers.
