Vodacom false marketing and how they ***** from people

About three months ago, i bought a huawei Nova at vodacom under contract for R350 a month(way overpriced for a middle range phone). The deal included a year's free screen insurance. I noticed the device started heating up firstly, but it was not of concern, because most devices do. Unfortunately, about a month ago the device heated up so badly, it started burning my hand, so i put it down to cool. When i woke up the next morning, the entire screen was cracked, but the lcd was still in a working condition. I immediately took the phone to Paarl Mall Vodacom outlet, where i filled in all nescessary documents and they sent the device to the repair centre. At first, i recieved a qoute of R2120.40, FOR A REPAIR ,which was already a lot. Then i found out the so called "screen insurance" did not want to cover the damage. The Paarl branch manager then told them to cover the damage as it was not inflicted and they agreed. By that the phone was sent back. Afterwards, the manager sent the phone to repairs for the second time. but this time all of a sudden the phone could not be repaired, thus they want to replace it, because apparently the cannot repair a screen for this model. I am utterly dissapointed by the poor service and false marketing done by vodacom, because the last time i called the repair centre, i was told that the marketing people was not aware that the screens of those models can't be repaired. Yet vodacom still sold those devices under contract. I was kind enough to meet them in the middle by caliming from the insurance, as i should not even have done so in the first place. They should have replaced the device free of charge or i will cancel the contract and i want to be refunded for those instalments that they have recieved, because firstly i was given a contract under false pretences and a malfunctional device was given to me.
