Vodacom false advertising ends in blacklisting for customer.

Vodacom blacklisting me over a false advertising by Hi-fi corp. About 3years ago went into Hi-fi Corporation South Gate mall looking to get a Vodacom contract deal for a "2 phones for 1" deal advertised for a period of 12 months. This deal was advertised on print media and on social media. I went into the store and did an application with sales consultant. My application was approved and as I was about to sign the contract and go home with the phones, I saw the terms of the contract were different from what was advertised. The contract had 24 months as opposed to the 12 months that was advertised.

The sales consultant sort clarity from a manager and I was told that it was an advertising error from the stores side and I was shown a tiny revised poster of the error at the corner of the store.

I didn't sign the contract, the contract and supporting documents were torn in front of me but somehow Vodacom has been trying to bill me. I have been blacklisted because of their error. I really need assistance as I really need my clean credit record back.

I called and emailed them on this issue, did the affidavits they needed and still got handed over to debts collectors. Now I am blacklisted for phones I did not see or handle. The Vodacom consultants I was on call with couldn't even say when these phones were active.
