Vodacom fails to resolve complaint

After complaining about the requirement to submit personal information to RAM, which was not indicated prior to delivery of my upgrade, Vodacom has not made a concerted effort to resolve the issue. Michael from customer care also told me that RAM required the documentation (uninformed) and he got them to call me, they confirmed Vodacom required it. Apart from the initial complaint and inconvenience, Vodacom has failed to follow up in order to resolve the issue. In terms of Section 40 Vodacom has my details and there should be no requirement to RICA me again, nor for me to give my personal information to RAM. I have not asked to replace my existing SIM and I have not lost it, my number also remains unchanged. Vodacom even state, on their website, that RICA information is transferred in the event of a SIM swap, unless the original SIM is reported missing. I am therefore still very frustrated that the requirement was not stated upfront, it's not required in my opinion, I see no point in giving it to a party I have not contracted with and Vodacom has made no real effort to resolve the issue.
