Vodacom fails once again....

I bought a brand new mobile device from Vodacom shop in the Blue Route Mall on 26 January2021. I paid R10 000 for this device as my contract device had been ******.

When I had paid and received the device I asked the Consultant Sinebhongo if I could return with my phone once it had been registered on the network to have the email setup done. I asked him if there would be a cost involved and he rep**** that that there would be no cost involved.

I returned to the same shop today 15 Feb 2021 to have the email setup done and I was told by the consultant that there would be a cost involved. After I had explained what Sinebhongo had told me I was issued with a numbered ticket and asked to wait for the next available consultant.

The next available consultant also told me that I needed to pay R150. I explained what I had been told by the consultant who sold me the phone. Sinebhongo was not present in the shop during this time.

This consultant, whose name I do not know as I could not see a name tag then had the gall to tell me that I would not have been told this. He was not present present at the time and yet he feels that he has the right to tell me that I am not telling him a true story.

What I find most annoying is that despite the fact that I have just paid TEN THOUSAND RAND for a device I must still pay extra for a service that used to be free with all my previous devices.

Once again, the so called leading Mobile network provider is milking the customer.
