Vodacom

Vodacom cancelled my mobile number without my consent and will further permanently delete it at the end of this month. After not being able to make or receive calls, I contacted Vodacom only to be told that my "Business" line has been cancelled as per a request received.

Vodacom cannot pick up who sent the request but can confirm it was acted upon and they cannot do anything about it. How on earth can you act on a request when you do not know who sent it???? Vodacom is quick to send messages relating to the fourth revolution and how they are moving from a telecommunications company to a digital solutions company, but they cannot pick up where the request to cancel my line came from??? ***Some food for thought***

Although I have been diligently paying for my account, according to Vodacom, my account is sponsored therefore I must get in touch with the responsible account manager to assist but they do not know who this is.

It is shocking to say the least. It is my account, my business account and I am now left unable to continue with my business, get in touch with my clients and my unwell mum who lives alone hundreds of kms away from me. Clearly Vodacom does not care about their loyal clients and the impact their unauthorised actions have on their clients, their businesses and families. Vodacom says the key to grow our country's economy is through small businesses and mine is certainly one of them but what they have done to me is a clear contradiction of their statement.

I want my account reactivated ASAP.

I am still to receive contact from vodacom 6 days after their automated response.
My business phone number is still inactive which confirms the lack of care by vodacom towards their clients.
I am glad the 4th revolution is here as we consumers become less dependent on service providers such as vodacom.
They are going to loose market share but clearly they are not phased by it with their blatant lack of customer care.

Vodacom cancelled my line without any notice and with immediate effect which included cancellation of my contract without my authorisation and yet they still continue to debit my account month after month for something that no longer exists.

How is this company allowed to get away with such ********* behaviour!!! This is ***** and I can only imagine how many millions of people this is happening to and they are getting away with it.

I cannot get hold of them through their call centre as they are always experiencing high call volumes and if you are lucky to get through after several times holding on for over 45 minutes at a time, their agents purposely terminate the call.

Something needs to be done as we consumers are always the ones being **********.
