Vodacom: excellent at taking your money, terrible at customer service

If only someone warned me about taking out a contract with vodacom. When I was a prepaid customer I did not have any problems with vodacom, so I figured taking out a contract with them would be a good idea. It was up until the time my contract should have come to an end. First my information got leak confidently right when I was suppose to cancel my contract. So someone (a whole 7 hours drive from where I stay, in a place I have never been) upgraded my contract with a copy of my ID. All the ******** did was to cut my photo out and paste his. To which vodacom granted him the privilege of upgrading my account and taking a phone at my expense. Three months later (after who knows how many calls). I got to cancel my contract. I waited Three months for my refund. First I was promised R1000.01. Then it was reduced to R877.20. Today I received a notification from my bank. Vodacom refunded me R151. I spoke to several consultants, each promising to resolve the matter. I got billed twice for a device I did not want nor got. All my airtime that I supposedly got after I requested to cancel the contract was also taken. Which was way more then the money they refunded my, they were nice enough to leave me with a R9 airtime balance. After 3 months of causing me inconvenience, all they give me back is a mere R151. How's that for R24 months of loyalty, never missing a payment once. I would not even wish my experience with vodacom upon my worst enemy, that is how strongly I feel about them letting me down.

I spoke to ********** but I guess she got tired of assisting me because she has not responded since 2017/09/15 15:24. I recently talked to ********** he actually made an effort. Thanks to him I received R151, instead of the R877.20 he promised.
