Vodacom ESim
It’s been over a month and no-one at Vodacom has been able to assist me with my Esim issue. My Apple watch and iPhone have worked perfectly for over a year and all of a sudden a month ago my account is no longer eligible to enable mobile data on my watch.
I have been dealing with Bertram and Eunice who have not been able to help me. Because they can’t sort this out, their answer is for me to go to Vodacare and have diagnostic done on watch and iPhone. I have now done this twice at Vodacare and once at the iStore, and there is nothing wrong with my phone or my watch. This is a clearly a Vodacom account activation issue.
I have now been told to go back to Vodacare Technical and book my phone and watch in so they can make sure there is nothing wrong with either. I am not doing this for a third time only to be told that it’s not a hardware issue.
I suggest someone who knows what they’re doing calls me back.
Best regards,

Best regards,
After 2 months I was visited by Jabu to resolve this issue. I have just today received feedback from Bertram that Jabu says everything is fine on Vodacom's side and there is no issue with my account and there's nothing more they can do. And I had to wait 3 WEEKS to get THAT feedback!!! This is the exact same ridiculous conclusion I was given 2 months ago when they first started investigating the issue!!
The issue has still not been resolved. My phone is giving me an error message which is quite obviously an ACCOUNT problem since the error message says “your VODACOM ACCOUNT is not eligible to receive mobile data. Contact VODACOM for more information.” I was also called by your upgrade department who told me my current ACCOUNT package has been discontinued.
Here is what I have tried so far, and NONE of these have resolved the issue, in case you try and tell me to do any of the below:
- Unpaired and repaired my watch more time that I can count.
- Deactivated and Reactivated my One Number eSim 7 times at Vodacom's insistence that this would solve the problem.
- Had the entire CIC team and Bertram on it, and all I get told is there's a new Apple law that says you can't get Emails on your Apple Watch anymore if your phone is not in range. Absolute *******!! I have had the watch for over a year and it has ALWAYS worked the way it was sold to me. Which is, if your phone is out of range you can still get DATA on your watch!!!
- Taken my watch AND phone in to the iStore AND Vodacom TWICE to run a full diagnostic and there nothing wrong with either (this is Bertrams latest suggestion, despite the fact that I keep telling him that I have done this TWICE now!!)
I suggest someone who knows what they’re doing calls me back.

I am not the only person who has had this issue. Vodacom has CHANGED SOMETHING AND THEY REFUSE TO ADMIT IT!!! SORT THIS OUT OR CANCEL MY ACCOUNT!!!
