VODACOM - ENDLESS NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!

We reported a VERY BAD Signal Problem in our residential Area.

After a massive struggle for weeks to get someone out to the location we were requested to complete an application for a "Booster" to be installed as per Vodacom’s Instruction and we were told that we should wait another 4 x Weeks before any action will be taken.

The Vodacom Technician that was sent out to Site, admitted that Vodacom has been aware of the poor signal problem in the area for YEARS, I find it very APPALLING / INEXCUSABLE THAT VODACOM HAS NEVER HAD ANY INTEREST IN RESOLVING THIS MATTER THAT THEY ARE QUITE AWARE OF.

I have contacted Customer Services NUMEROUS TIMES where the Consultants have NOT BEEN OF ANY HELP AT ALL, all I het is empty promises and no reactions / answers / replies to my Enquiries.

Thereafter I was forced to take the issue to the Next Level where I contacted the Vodacom Head Office in Midrand on 011 ********** . The Receptionist KEPT PUTTING ME BACK TO CUSTOMER SERVICE CONTINUOUSLY AFTER I REQUESTED TO SPEAK WITH MANAGEMENT!!! I found this very Rude & VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! After losing my temper with this Lady on my 4th Call she eventually put me through to MR LITHOLE (Executive Client Liaison Officer) who was also of absolutely no help at all as per e-mail Quoted Below:

“Dear Marty

We thank you for sending your complaint to our office and allowing us the opportunity to investigate and resolve.

Kindly be advised that your complaint has been escalated to the Network Department and they are busy on it.

As per our telephonic discussion, the job should be allocated to a Technician next week to come and mount the booster.

You will be contacted for an appointment once the job has been allocated to a Technician

Please accept our sincere apology for the delay in resolving the matter

Thank you for your patience “

This was the Last that we heard from Vodacom after Requesting a DEFINITE INSTALLATION DATE NO ONE HAS YET CONFIRMED THE NUMEROUS REQUESTS SEND VIA E-MAIL.

Vodacom said its “Dropped Call Compensation” campaign is aimed at supporting its claim of having “the best network with the fewest dropped calls”.

WITH THIS SAID MY VODACOM CONTRACT SHOULD THEN BE FREE EVERY MONTH AS I CANNOT MAKE OR RECEIVE ONE FULL PHONE CALL WHEN I AM HOME?????
