Vodacom encourages ******** acts

Around the 10 January 2017 I started to receive complaints from members of my family that they were unable to contact me on my cell. However I did not receive any miss calls on my phone. I contacted Vodacom on several occassions and they responded that there were no issues. on 21 January 2017 I was unable to make calls from my phone. Once again I contacted Vodacom and the response was that nothing was wrong. On MOnday the 23 January 2017 I started to receive many sms with people's id numbers , full names and commitments with large amounts of cash. There were vulgar sms as people were responding to sms that I didnt send. I logged onto vodacom to see activity and saw that my account was R69 000 for data usage. My average bill is R1500. I contacted Vodacom and requested that they suspend my services to stop ******** activity. They said that they were UNABLE to assist me. I had to go the to Vodacom store to suspend my account. I have logged several calls wiht Vodacom executive and tried escalating it with the executive but to no avail. Vodacom as a service provider should be able to manage the privacy and their network security effectively. It is obvious to me that some ******** element has been using my account /data for ******** activities and Vodacom has just debited my account for R10 000. To date I have not received any response from Vodacom even though I have been phoning daily. Vodacom is very happy that ********* abuse private citizens data because they simply charge the fees to innocent clients. A client using R1500 worth of service for the last few years will not suddenly run up a bill of R70 000 in a week. Vodacom is not treating it with urgency because they can simply debit my account for R10000 and I have to carry the interest of the debt I am going to incur. I find this unacceptable for a corporate service provider to not only endorse but support ******** activity by not doing anything to secure their client's cellular /data services (despite me phoning them many times). I am now going to have to incur R1000's in legal fees to rectify this situation. Vodacom has lost a loyal customer and I am sure they will lose many more if they continue with such poor customer service.
