Vodacom employees leaking personal information
Someone in Vodacom is giving out your customer's details! I app**** for a contract but because my credit score was low, as I hadn't been employed and had no other debt, the contract I wanted was declined and a lower oe offered. I declined the offered contract and said I would wait for my score to increase.
Today I received a call from a "Vodacom" agent stating that they are offereing me two phones and I only have to pay for the data. She said Vodacom had reviewed my PREVIOUS APPLICATION and are wanting to offer me this deal now.
How did she know that I had indeed app**** and didn't take the deal offered by Vodacom? How did she have my details?
You are going to have to do stricter checks on your employees! Someone is going onto your system and checking which people have app**** and have either been declined or offered lower contracts which they haven't accepted. This information is being sold. I suggest you up your security measures and start checking who is logging into the system amd searching for declined or non contracts being issued.
The number they are calling from is *** One zero zero four three zero six double five six.
A lot of people are complaining about this!
