Vodacom Emergency Calls has messed up my day
Woke up this morning to zero network and Emergency Calls only. I have tried every trick: restarting my phone, switching aeroplane mode off and on, switching mobile data off and on, taking out my sim and putting it again. Worst, I only have 1 phone so I can't call customer care. I've been disconnected from WhatsApp and I can't go to the store. So what now?

11 Jan 2020, 01:27Hi my phone number was ported to MTN in a WhatsApp **** requesting my contacts to send ewallets. That's why I had no network thehey received a message saying "I lost my wallet please send me R1.5k I'll pay you back tomorrow" some of my family members sent money up to R2.5k from one person. I went to MTN in Crests to reverse the port and only got back into my Vodacom network at 10pm the damage had been done. Whose responsibility is it to refund my family between MTN and Vodacom? There was no opt out or opt in option for porting, a security breach on both ends.
