Vodacom Edgars RCM contract ****

I don't have any account with edgars but I have a cash points card with them. After a purchase the sales person asked if I would like to accumulate free airtime with purchases.. I agreed on condition that I don't want any contract or that it won't affect my current price plan as a prepaid customer at Vodacom. I use the vodacom 79 cents prepaid plan billed per second any network and had my number for about 10 years. My usual spend was aprox R600/ month as I use my phone for business etc. Now I'm locked into a contract with RCM somebody and vodacom simply deny their involvement in being able as my service provider to help me. Edgars has since closed their doors in my town and I have been locked into a contract with Vodacom that cost me 3 times more in expensive airtime. Edgars and Vodacom deny any ability to help. I have no agreement with RCM but now I have to phone them to cancel a contract between me and them??? I have been making phone calls and quoting ref numbers for more than a year loosing aprox R1800 a month on extra airtime spending.. I can't move away from Vodacom without loosing my number since it's now hijacked into a contract.. I'm very frustrated with Edgars and Vodacom and my rage at RCM is better not expressed.

Vodacom did phone me regarding this. They said that they don't get a lot of these complaints which is strange because my primary action was to phone Vodacom for Vodacom to end this contract which I did not authorise and all the call centre people I spoke to affirmed that they get a high quantity of the same complaint. I couldn't understand why they couldn't help me and when I pushed for a solution they said I could stop using my number and just get a new number.. they were not concerned that they were likely loosing fed-up customers. I'm still hostage to a ridiculous contract through Edgars and RMCS with my Vodacom spend more than triple the normal amount I usually pay on an average month! I can't move my number from Vodacom since a contract number can't migrate to another network..and I am locked into a contract without applying or signature. Vodacom have also informed me that I have an account for over R750 000 out of bundle Internet usage..on this so called contract ? I'm convinced it's part of the RMCS ****.. They probably use these huge amounts of money fictionaly owed to them to cook their books and likely also **** the shareholders. I wonder how far the Edcom group is exposed to this rotten ****. It's likely since this originated with Edgars that they are at the helm of this. Although this hijack of my Vodacom prepaid number with a Vodacom contract Vodacom insist that I should phone RMCS to cancel the contract. RMCS plays a slimey game that makes it impossible to cancel with them.. they flatly don't answer calls.. if you get through they routinely cut you off.. they give you a ref number for a quarry but never follows up on it and when you manage to get through again and quote your ref number they say that the office that could help you tried to call you but you didn't answer...but there is never a miss call record on your phone.. They are absolute **** to deal with. My troubles have been dragging on for more than a year and I wonder when will a reasonable person have enough ...
