Vodacom Eastgate mall sucks

I was at the vodacom shop in Eastgate mall on 31/05/2023. To say that the service was pathetic is an understatement. The staff are very unprofessional. To start, there was a guy at the door, just staring out into the mall. You walk into the shop, it's a mess. Disorganized, no structure, it's just terrible. The woman who assisted was more interested in the 4 men who were laughing like hyenas behind the counter. The only thing she needed to do was swop the router for a new one. This one task took half an hour. I don't know if it's incompetence, or just plain down laziness. There is no sense of urgency. No desire to service customers timeously and professionally. I mean, there was a customer who was on his OWN PHONE USING HIS OWN MINUTES, trying to get assistance from the vodacom call centre. Not once did any of the staff inside the shop bother to assist him or find out if he is OK. For TWENTY MINUTES he sat there with no one helping him. It is a damn disgrace, especially since the four men behind the counter were doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, JUST LAUGHING like there's some comedy show happening while the store is an an absolute mess. One consultant was on her phone checking whatsapp statuses while servicing her client. Another consultant left her computer open for the whole world to see. Does the POPI act not apply to Vodacom? The place where the printers stand are dirty and full of papers and stationery. The fact that vodacom can charge their customers so much money for contracts, data, etc but this is what their store looks like and how their staff behave, is an absolute disgrace. This store should really be ashamed. I didn't even see anyone resembling a manager in that store because it was a like a creche. Vodacom, you need sort that shop out. I feel like customers don't complain enough about the lack of service they get or they've just become accustomed to the bad service and unprofessional behavior that the staff display
