#Vodacom doesnt have your original contract

I opened a contract with vodacom in May 2017. I wanted to cancel my contract with Vodacom in January 2019. They have told me my contract is from July 2017 so I can only cancel it in July, (of course there is the option of their "cancellation fee").

After numerous visits to their branch, phone calls, emails, they have NOT been able to provide me with my SIGNED contract to show the dates. Therefore I am now being held to an invalid contract.

This also goes against the POPI act whereby a company is obliged to provide all data they hold on any of their customers.
