Vodacom Doesnt Care Constantia

My experience with Vodacom this year has been absolutely disgusting!

I upgraded my contract 3 months ago. I received a CAT S30 phone, based on the representations made that it would not break if dropped 1.8m and it was waterproof as to its spec.
First Jonathan at Vodacom 4u Constantia stated he would activate my account by the evening. He did not activate it, I subsequently missed a very important call because I did not have my old phone and sim charged.
Secondly, Johnathan and other representatives of Vodacom Constantia have not followed up at all on anything. I have sent 8 emails attempting to sort out problems with Vodacoma received one response, which was meant to be followed up by email. It has not.
Vodacom is apparently a premium brand, and literally I cannot afford to have Vodacom suspend any of the work contracts which are connected to the debit order based on an instruction to the bank. What am I paying for?!

Thirdly, the bone of contention: The CAT phone broke after a drop. It took 1 month to get a new one, and with no follow up calls to tell me what is happening. Then I tested the waterproof warranty. It broke again. Then I told Vodacom Constantia, I will not accept a CAT phone. In line with the Consumer Protection Act. I have requested cancellation from this contract to no avail. There was one person whom with which I have spoken to on a number of occasions, he said it would be difficult, but he did not get back to me.

Fifthly, I have had a phone for 2 weeks, and Vodacom has had the phone for 3 months approximately. Meaning I have been charged akin to *****ing.

I honestly cannot believe how much time over the last over 3 months I have spent speaking to a brick wall. There is nothing that they have done which is worth one cent. I can see why they have 1.5 star rating on google already.

Bottom line, Vodacom doesnt care, and do not buy a Catapillar phone, bad quality and the brand lies about its representations.
