Vodacom does not want my money!

I have been trying to upgrade my phone and contract since the beginning of November 2016. I have tried multiple avenues in vodacom to try and upgrade with no success.

First I went to the vodacom shop in a mall nearby. I asked them if they had the phone I want in stock and they said no they would have to order it. After a week went by with them not coming back to me I phoned them. All I got was excuses why the phone was not there yet. This went on for a couple of weeks. The best excuse I got in this time period was that the floods (this was around the time when the flash floods occurred in the East rand) caused that the phone could not be delivered! The floods did not go on for that long in my mind... Finally, after another week or so I went to the shop. Got there and there was two guys standing around. Approached them, as they didnt look like they wanted to help me, and asked if they had my phone. One of them went to the back to check and came back saying no phone, and then that was it! He didnt say let me try and sort you out, let me check on the system if it was ordered etc. Nothing! Case in point, Vodacom doesnt want my money.

After this experience I ditched the shop and decided I will upgrade online. The call centre phoned me back and we discussed what I wanted and the order was placed. The lady on the phone told me, the courier company would send me a notification as soon as the phone was on its way alerting me to roughly when it would be at my office building. She told me it would take 3 to 7 days. After the 7 days passed I phoned back. Every time I phoned I gave my number and the person on the line checked and said the consultant that helped me was not in yet, they will leave a message with her and she will phone me back. This has happened probably 4 or 5 times, she has not once returned my call. Finally one of the consultants I spoke to said they will check on the system and she told me the phone was dispatched and its with RAM couriers. She gave me a tracking number as well. I phone RAM to check where the phone was. They told me it was sent back, and the phone is now with Vodacom???

Then one day I was in a different shopping centre, and decided let me try the vodacom shop there, perhaps they are better than the previous vodacom shop. The girl who helped me seemed like she knew what she was doing and seemed helpful. I was there on a Tuesday afternoon, she told me they would be ordering the next day and the phone should be there on the Friday. I ordered a space grey one, or if they didnt have it a silver one which she said she can do. On Saturday after no feedback (surprise surprise) I phoned to check. The lady I spoke to told me they only have rose gold ones . So what has happened here is Vodacom doesnt just not want my money, they cannot supply the phone they say they can supply.

I doubt I will get feedback on this given what I have learned. I am looking at deals at other service providers at the moment.
