Vodacom does not take ***** seriously

12 May an ******* sim swap was made on my number, this was identified and reported 13 May. My prepaid airtime balance was wiped out, airtime advances taken. Agent at time advised I must open a case with SAPS and then report to Vodacom *****. SAPS couldn't open the case as I had no documented proof of the value taken. Vodacom was not able to provide that documented proof and after 2 weeks of back and forth eventually logged ticket with Vodacom ***** Department via email. 2 Months later the ticket was summarily closed. Zero correspondence other than SMS confirming ticket closed. No reconciliation of ****** amounts, no documented details to provide proof to open a SAPS case. You are unable to contact ***** department other than vial email. They don't reply, they don't call back. 082135 support is not even able to contact or redirect to ***** department. Vodacom does not provide its customers with the information needed to report a crime or prove they have done so on your behalf.
