30 Jul 2025, 08:02 At 1st I did not want to upgrade, and then decided for my birthday I will upgrade my phone with a free watch. I ordered on the 18th of June and to my surprise I received my order on the 20th. But it wasn't what I have ordered the Phone colour was wrong and I did not receive my watch. After several emails and 3 weeks I did not get any joy so I tried and send an email to the ***, I eventually got a respond. So then somebody started to investigate my order.
On the day I received my incorrect order I made a screen shot of my online order and send it to my husband and told him I was very disappointed, which shows the picture with the free watch with the order number. I have sent that with the confirmation of my order to Vodacom over and over, it is now 1 month and 10 days further now they want proof in Video form that, that was what I have ordered. Unfortunately for me the photo of the order disappeared from my online profile. And according to Vodacom I only ordered a phone.
It is VERY SAD to say the least I have been a loyal customer to VODACOM from 1999 and this is how they treat loyal customers. I'm sure if this was a new customer they signed up, they would have bend backwards to give the client the free watch. At this stage it the principle of I know what I have order I have the photo to proof but VODACOM just says sorry you order did not have a watch. So, for the next 3 years I'm stuck in a contract. I KNOW IT’S ONLY A STUPID WATCH BUT IT’S RATHER A DISAPPOINTMENT AND A LET DOWN, after I look forward to this order, AS IT WAS FOR MY BIRTHDAY!

01 Aug 2025, 08:07I just want to warn others if you order make sure that you don't just order on what's the photo says as this is how VODACOM caught me with a contract with a free watch. Now they claim there was never a free watch on that deal but I had the photo "screen shot" of my order. Just saying! This seems like false Advertising to me.
