Vodacom does not consider loyalty, client size or partnerships. Bullying behaviour

Last year when my upgrade was due, there was no suitable phone I liked. The sales agent indicated that I could take a package without a phone and when one was available that I liked, elect to do so.

I tried doing this yesterday, however Vodacom said I need to pay up 75% of my current contract and not receive the minutes or data and take out a new contract.

They simply would rather lose a client than try and work something out. They simply do not even consider how much you have spent with them, how many family members have contracts, how long you have been a client.

It feels like one is being bul****. Not impressed.

You can either partner with me as a client and find a solution, or I will look to find a service provider who can offer me a basic service that is expected by most clients.

Thank you for the feedback: For full disclosure please will you disclose the following in writing: - how long I have been a client for? - my total expenditure over the years? - what recourse I have against your sale’s agent for misrepresentation? - who I lay a formal client complaint with? Please will you investigated this within your business & lodged with the relevant regulatory body. - why one pays 75% of the total outstanding contract & gets nothing in return when the contract was misrepresented? - as indicated, Vodacom will be making more money. Why the heavy handedness? I look forward to your written response. Thanks
