Vodacom does it again - 3rd time is the charm
On Friday the 18th of August I placed an order for a new phone and contract. I was then in contact from Lerato, ***, who asked me for 3 months bank statements, a payslip & my ID.
This was all completed on Friday the 18th of August, with a 'your application has been approved' from Lerato being the final correspondence.
On the Vodacom orders website, I was told it would take 2-5 working days for my phone to be delivered. With no confirmation / correspondence sent on the 4th working day (Thursday the 24th of August). I called, and was told that my order was only a quote and not approved, this would now take a further 3-7 working days to get sorted.
I asked to speak to a manager to help me, the manager told me that he would expedite the order & that I could expect delivery of my phone on Friday / Monday and that I would receive a confirmation email.
Well it is Friday, no confirmation email, no correspondence, I'm still being told that my order is 'pending'. Apparently people are supposed to call me and that can take a further 72 hours.
So much for expediting the order or keeping promises made to your customers!
All this after my first order for an internet contract was a total botch, and then you just debited me incorrectly (still waiting for half of my refund just by the way).
Now, I have to fight you to get a contract and a phone.
Please can someone from Vodacom contact me to sort this out, with a paper trail, your Facebook team is NOT handling it but just telling me to wait and that the order is pending, so please don't tell me to deal with them, & whenever I call for assistance I'm told I'll receive email correspondence and it just doesn't happen. I would like to speak with someone who can give me answers & action the solution, not just leave me waiting even longer & having to jump through more hoops.
Just an FYI calling my router number, which is contracted through you and as you know because it is YOUR contract it cannot receive calls, just shows how much care is taken with your customer service.
