Vodacom do not want new business.

I have had an account with Vodacom since 2004. This account had two lines attached two it for about 1 year and then I added a third. In 2020 my sister who was using the 3rd account returned to the UK and so I cancelled that account. Today I wished to add another line bringing the total number of lines back up to 3. Vodacom then declined by request saying that I had exceeded the number of lines that I could have. Nobody could explain why I was allowed 3 lines for about 17 years but now could only have 2. One agent even suggested that I could have afforded R199pm in 2020 but that my circumstances must have changed and that in 2023 I could no longer afford it. What a cheek to even suggest such a thing without knowing nothing of my financial circunstances.
