VODACOM divulging Rica info now a safety concern

I have called the call center with the promise of an investigation and progress call back on 30.11.17 at 6:27. I have to date not heard a peep. This is regarding a phone that was ****** during April'14, the number, as per standard practice was recycled during September'17. Just as I am, the number was still saved on my phone. Saw the new profile pic, but lo and behold my husband receives a facebook invite (he rica'd the phone). Same profile pic. As per call center, the sim gets wiped clean when it is recycled, so where did they get his name etc????? Further more, these details weren't stored anywhere on the sim, he was listed as "dad". I have therefore come to the conclusion that VODACOM has divulged my husband's info to whomever has the phone now. You would like for me to go to the police station and open a case, and as I asked, what case against whom - I do not have these people's details or should I open a case against VODACOM for releasing my husband's details as we now have to worry about his safety. I need feedback regarding your "investigation"!!!!!!!!!!!!
