Vodacom dishonest in their business cnduct

I would like voice my dissatisfaction with the service from Elite mobile on behalf of Vodacom. I was due for an upgrade in October and I got a call from one of the client service consultants, and I explicitly told her that my condition to upgrade was only going to happren if I get a phone on a 24 month conyract and she confirmed that it wil be like that. After few days of delay, the phone was delivered last week wednesday and yesterday I got an email containing details that was not part of the initial agreement. The information stated that my cntract was 36 months. I feel the deal was done in a dishonest manner from the Vodacom (Elite mobile) people as such I'm contemplating to terminate my contract with Vodacom. This will include my Fibre line and the other line that was due for an upgrade. I'm still within the 7 days of returning the device.

Vodacom, please sort out the issue promptly or stand to lose over R1500 monthly. Can I also please request the transcripts of the telephonic conversation relating to the contract?

Dear Vodacom,

I got contacted by a gentleman from Vodacom and as promised he got the ball rolling to get to the bottom of this. He got the relevant people to get more information from me of which I did. It's now the second week since I have been waiting on the outcome of their investigation on the issue. I have also been checking on my Vodacom App and it still shows that nothing has changed, that my contract is still 36 months.

Vodacom, can we please finalise this matter?

Regards,

Frans

We are now in the new year and still all Vodacom can do is rhetoric. I have just checked my bill for December and over R2K went to Vodacom. I have given them enough time to resolve my issue and the only thing is just a PR stunts because nothing concrete ever comes out of it. I work in IT and the lady who last called me said it's impossible to change the 36 months to 24 but they can adjust my monthly contribution to suit the current term. I find that statement to be inaccurate. I'm currently being overcharged since my premium is based on the 24 months terms but I'm expected to pay it over in 36 months.
Vodacom should view this as a notice of termination if they don't resolve this whole thing this month and I will instruct my banker to stop any debits from their side as of February 2022. It's getting tiring and whoever from Vodacom who's going to be calling me I don't need promises but a conclusive action.

I feel that business in Vodacom is done with serious dishonesty, just last month one of the consultants called me to tell me of a promotion that was running and that my main account would be reduced and on my data account I will be receiving 70 Gig of data. Now the same data has been allocated to my other data account whereas on the main account the monthly premium is still the same. I would therefore like to ask Vodacom to furnish me with transcripts of the call that was had in September 2022, and in addition my lawyer has asked that I get the upgrade transcript of September 2021 on the main number. Please.

So I see that no one from Vodacom has bothered to respond to my request about making available the transcripts, so I'm now left with my banker stopping the debits come end of the month. All I needed was to handle all this situation amicably.
