Vodacom - Disgusting Treatment of a Loyal Customer!

In July 2018, my cell phone contract that costs me R 311.49 / month (not allot) was due for an upgrade, I received at least 5 to 6 phone calls from Vodacom asking me if I want to upgrade my contract, and each and every time I told them I will go visit a store near me when I am ready to upgrade my contract.... I have been using Vodacom for a number of years on many different contracts, this contract is about 2 to 3 years old, always paid on time, never missed a payment! Anyways on Saturday 21 July 2018 around 13H10 I received a call from a male representing Vodacom asking me if I want to upgrade my contract, I told him the exact same thing I told every other agent, I also asked him why are so many Vodacom representatives calling me for my upgrade and that he needs to update his system so that these calls can stop, he simply told me the only way the Vodacom employees will be able to stop calling me, is by sending me a pin number and providing it to him so he can enter this into his system and everyone will be able to tell that this client will not upgrade over the phone. I gave it to him and he said thank you and that was the end of the call. At 13H13 I received a text msg from Vodacom saying they have now received my upgrade order. On Tuesday 24 July 2018 I received a text message from RAM telling me that my parcel is out on delivery to an address that I have never heard of. Numerous calls to Vodacom were made making them aware of this. July 30 Vodacom deducted R 1,935.13 off my bank account. I called Vodacom and spoke with a Zimasiwe Ndamase at 10H10 in the Client Services department for assistance and to tell her that I will be reversing the debit order, Zimasiwe then transferred me to the Solutions department where I spoke with a Celina Masabata who said I must send a copy of my ID and a signed Affidavit from the Police Station and send it to her email address ********** as the Solutions department emails were down at the time and she will ensure it gets handed in. I sent a copy of my ID and a signed Affidavit from the Police Station to Celina on 31 July @ 11H21 as requested. I gave it some time and called Vodacom back on the 21 August 2018 @ 15H20 (More than enough time to have hopefully received some sort of feedback from Vodacom), I spoke with a Nombuso from the Client Services department who told me that she has spoken to the Solutions department and they are still working on my case. Whilst I was on the line with Vodacom I also mentioned to Nombuso that I am constantly getting calls from your collections department asking me for the money I owe them, and that every time I must explain to these callers what is happening with my account, Nomuso then transferred me to the collections department who I then spoke to a Solly. Solly told me that I must keep my ***** case number (Ref: 1- ********** ********** ) handy for when the collections callers give me a call, Solly also told me that he would remove me from the debit order instruction on their system so that the incorrect funds would not be taken from my bank account again until the ***** case or investigation is over, Solly also told me to keep making payments of R 443.35 to Vodacom by EFT for the correct contract amounts and use ref: I ********** 4 when sending through the POP's (As I have two contracts with Vodacom the correct total monthly amount for my contracts is R 443.35). Not one update from Vodacom regarding my ***** case for the rest of the month. 27 August 2018, Vodacom deducted R 2,102.35 from my bank account.... at this point I stopped taking notes of who I spoke to and what dates and times I called Vodacom as I simply realised that no matter who I speak to, I am never going to come right! So I called Vodacom to be put through to the collections department whereby I spoke to someone completely different, had to explain the entire story over again for them to remove me from the debit order list, this guy confirmed he had done it (This time they did do it). I paid the correct amount by EFT and sent the POP to the required email address, but I still got calls from numerous Vodacom employees asking me for their money and what I have paid is incorrect. The whole of September and October went by where I called numerous times for an update on the ***** case, I was told the same thing again, the case is not finished and they still working on it. I was even given different email addresses to send to for updates which I did on numerous occasions but I had not one response from Vodacom! Anyways, my phone has been blocked, I cant make calls, I can only receive calls, Vodacom also turned my caller identity off so I cannot see who calls me, the numbers all appear as unknown numbers, I cannot send / receive text or WhatsApp messages, I don't have access to the internet.... I have a family with a wife that has been retrenched twice in 2 years, hasn't found a job for over 5 months now, I have 2 daughters and I work permanently for an employer as well as have my own small business. Vodacom have taken all these services away from me, I cannot call if an emergency takes place, I cannot open the gate to get into my complex because you need to call the gate number for it to open. I cannot run my own business and I cannot even let my current boss at my employer know if I am running late for work or if anything urgent happens, my life has been turned upside down because of this mess!!! Mid October I found out that Zimasiwe Ndamase from the Vodacom Solutions department did not hand my copy of my ID and my Affidavit to the ***** Investigations department... that's 2 and a half months later of nagging Vodacom for an answer on this... I'm totally gutted with this individual because she promised me over the phone she would take care of this! So I was told by Vodacom to resend my documents (Affidavit & ID), so I did. Friday 9th November 2018, I get a msg from Vodacom that the ***** case is resolved but no phone call, no nothing else. Monday 12th November, I call Vodacom, chat to a lady in the client services department as my phone is still blocked, logs a request to have the line opened, told me to check again in two hours and restart my phone, I do that, still blocked. Tuesday 13th November, I call again, chat to a different lady this time, have to explain the whole story over every time I speak to someone new, she does the same thing, tells me to wait 4 hours and it should be sorted, I do, check my phone, restart it and still its blocked. Wednesday 14th November (Morning), I call again, chat to a guy this time, explain the story, he does the same thing, tells me also check my phone after so many hours again... I wait the requested time, I check, and again my phone is blocked. I call again in the afternoon, exactly the same thing! Thursday 15th November (Morning) I call again, I speak to a Nokwanda who very helpfully looked into everything for me and told me that the upgrades department must unblock the phone, she calls them and they tell her I must wait until then end of the month as my phone is undergoing a migration from the ********** upgrade that took place. She said she cannot do anything more for me. I told her that is unacceptable and that someone needs to sort this out, why must it be my problem that I must now wait 4 months to use my phone! I am absolutely disgusted from the services I have received from Vodacom, I will happily tell anyone that is considering to go onto there books to strongly think twice about it, they are so bad that's is horrific, you are just a number. I have got to the point now where I don't know what to do, I'm gutted and horrified by this experience. (By the way, I have left out allot of the detail, especially the amount of time I have spent contacting Vodacom to get feedback, or get a resolution, I have spent hours and hours and I simply cannot so this with them any longer!!)

FOR ONCE WHO AT VODACOM DECIDED TO CHANGE MY PACKAGE TO ANOTHER ONE THAN THAT I WAS ALREADY ON, IVE GOT THE INCORRECT BILLING / INVOICES FROM VODACOM FOR THE PAST 2 OR 3 MONTHS, NOW THEY HAVE SUSPENDED MY ACCOUNT AS I HAVENT PAID BUT NOT ONE VODACOM EMPLOYEE HAS COME BACK TO ME ABOUT THE DISPUTES ON THE INVOICES I HAVE MADE!!! HONESTLY THIS IS BEYOND ME NOW!
