Vodacom disappoints yet again!

In March 2024 I got an email from Vodacom about changes to my fibre pricing and speed. Basically my speed was reduced and my pricing was reduced which would come into effect May 2024. Today I get another email from Vodacom saying "Previously, Vodacom has been offering the Fibre Broadband service to you at a rate below cost, primarily due to system limitations. However, maintaining this practice has become unsustainable in light of escalating costs from the Fibre Network Provider. In order to maintain our commitment to delivering high-quality service, it is imperative to adjust our pricing to align with market standards". Essentially they have now further dropped my speed for a measly R100 less.

Is this how Vodacom treats long standing customers? Barely a few months later and my speed is being drastically dropped for a R100 difference. This is highway ******* and doing it without asking me. What happened to asking the customer first? I work from home, which means there was a reason I asked for the initial speed in the first place. And how can Vodacom change their minds barely 3 months later?

I am very disappointed with this service especially in the times we find ourselves. I suppose being a loyal customer does not count for anything these days.
