Vodacom disappoints again

Horrible experience for my wife with Vodacom's "associate company" Mondo yesterday. Vodacom was requested to not share her details with other parties and specifically to refrain from any further approaches by Mondo after a very poor experience last year. Mondo were able to repeat the **** yesterday by calling and identifying themselves only as Vodacom. Vodacom shop staff confirmed later they receive numerous complaints about the way Mondo does business. Does Vodacom not care about their image or about who they do business with. Complaints fall on deaf ears, as do requests not to share data. Let's hope the ombudsman agrees that the relationship and business behaviour of both companies is unacceptable. Maybe Vodacom has got so big now that they just don't care? Who knows, but it certainly leaves a very poor impression when their "associate company" is allowed to carry on acting in Vodacom's name without a care in the world. I suppose it is just another repeat of the sorry saga of Vodacom allowing the misuse of their system by the premium call line operators. Sad indeed.
