Vodacom Direct Sales - No Deal

I have been wanting to change from MTN to either Vodacom or Cell C for quite a while now. My 2 daughters contracts with MTN are coming to an end and I thought that this would be a good opportunity to start new contracts. I found a very good deal online at Vodacom ie. Sony Z1 Compact at R229 on a Smart S contract. All was going very well with the sales lady phoning me and getting everything pre-approved. She phoned me on Friday afternoon to go through a plan for me to select but as I was out shopping I said that she should phone me on Saturday upon which she said that she was not working Saturday but would phone me Monday. On Saturday morning I called Vodacom to do the deal but was told that the sale has been locked under the sales lady that first made contact with me BUT if I wanted they could unlock it and would be able to help me. I said not to worry she can call me Monday. I got the call on Monday only to be told that the price has now increased to R349 on the Smart S as the Special has now expired. Nobody on Saturday told me that by Monday morning the special would be over. Guess I'll be staying with MTN or maybe I should give Cell C a try.
