Vodacom

VODACOM

I had again, a very bad experience with Vodacom on Monday Night - again.

I phoned the Call Center at just after 20:00 and held on for about 25 minutes because of "high call volume". I asked the Call Center if it is because they are short staffed or because they receive a lot of complaints... She could not answer me. I am a client of Vodacom for over 25 years. I had various accounts - for my family - and now still have two accounts with them. The lady I spoke to was Nosi and my reference number is ***8 for my call. She first did not want to give me a reference number because she called me back - I was not willing to hold on for another 25 minutes for the "system that was slow" to find out why I use 500 MB's from Friday to Monday whilst I have a 2 Gig contract for a month and it normally lasts for a month.

I told her it was because of dropped connections and other reasons I am not aware of. My laptop is set that I can only receive e-mails when I work on the building site or at home - NO background downloads can take place - it is set like that through my Company IT department after my last complaint where they also sent me to a Vodashop "to sort out the problem".

She tried it this time again... and I refused. She came back with a reply "Your MB's were used for WhatsApp's" which I immediately refused to believe, because you cannot send WhatsApp's from a laptop, only a Cell Phone and my Cell phone (also a Vodacom contract) is separate and not connected to my ****le from Vodacom.

I told her that I am going to report them on Hellopeter, which she said is my prerogative and I must go ahead... My family who were all on Vodacom moved to other Cell Phone Networks and are very happy with their service and I told her maybe I must do the same if the Service to a Client that stayed with them for so long is treated like that. Again her reply was I must do what I want...
