Vodacom denies liability for unauthorized SIM swop

I am disgusted with Vodacom who authorised a SIM swop without my consent. The SIM swop which was requested on 15 December 2022 via the Vodacom Customer Care Centre by a ********* led to a successful SIM swop without my consent or prove that it was me. This unauthorised SIM swop led to ********** buying goods on an online account of mine in the value of R7000 which is also under investigation by the affected institute. Vodacom ***** department then responded in the investigation that they agree that the SIM swop was unauthorised but denies liability for any losses on my part. How is that possible???? How can you agree and at the same time disagree that the fault is on your side because I certainly did not approve the SIM swop. If Vodacom did a proper job, I would not have been the victim of ***** which left me with R7000 worth of debt. This is unacceptable for a company which makes millions to just disregard liability when it is clear who is to blame.
