Vodacom deletes our saved voice messages after 28 days

I had a very important voice message that I had saved. On the 26 th of November after I could not find that important saved voice message I called into Vodacom call centre to find out why I could not find this voice message. I was horrified to be told that our voice messages are deleted after 28 days. I asked the lady who gave Vodacom consent to delete my voice messages without consent. The lady explained to me that it is under the terms and conditions on the Vodacom portal. I asked her not to tell me about such terms and conditions and asked her why such terms and conditions is not stated at the point that one uses the service. The consultant told me that it does appear on the voice prompts when you dial 132. Soon after that the call cut. I dialed 132 and could not hear any prompts to such effect. Vodacom I would like to tell you that I do not have the patience to deal with corporate tricks. Many times I have experienced situations whereby something goes wrong with a service you use and pay for and you later told about terms and conditions that appear on portals that clients may not even know of, yet such pertinent information is not found at the point of where clients use such a service. You failed to make clients aware of this terms and conditions at the point which they use this service. There is no message informing customers of such terms and conditions when you dial 132, I know that when I dialled that number from a recorded line on my phone. How dare you delete saved voice messages of paying customers? How can your company do such a thing. Surely your company is aware of the implications behind this practice. What if your company just goes and deletes people's saved voice messages that would serve as evidence in a ******** investigation? There are reasons why people save their voice messages and some of those reasons could be that it may be important evidence that is needed in court!!!! Your offices must retrieve and send all my saved voice messages over the last six months and failing to do so will result in me handing this matter over to attorneys.Nothing ever gets deleted and I am quite sure your offices can retrieve these voice messages if you'll wanted to.
