Vodacom deleted my number

My phone was water damaged a few months ago and I tried to get it repaired but with no luck. I couldn’t get a replacement phone for financial reasons so I wasn’t able to use my SIM card as I didn’t have a phone. Now my number has been deleted conveniently on the day that I went to do a sim swap (sim got lost). I need that number as all my banking platforms and personal accounts are linked to it. When I try to call it it says the number does not exist.
