Vodacom delaying to their agreement to cancel my contract so they can charge me an extra month

I received a call from Vodacom fibre to offer me fibre connection. I then advised that I have a Vodacom Home Internet Contract and that I will call them to upgrade me to fibre. I called the Vodacom Home Internet "***" on 19 February at 8:11am for a switch over and advised that I am not willing to pay cancellation fees as I will staying within Vodacom. They called me back on the same day from *** at 8:42am. The Supervisor advised that since I will be staying within Vodacom, they will waiver the cancellation fees and any fees and will cancel the product. Fibre was installed and activated on the 26th and when I call Home Internet, the cancellation was not processed and they waivered the cancellation but advised that I must pay 1 month subscription for period 26/02 to 26/03 but I will not be using the Home Internet Service and there is 118GB day data and 200GB night data still left on the product which will expire in 28/02/2025 and I have already paid for it on 25/02/2025. Why do I have to pay for something that I will not be using as they advised that once the subscription is paid and proof is sent, they will cancel the services. So I am actually paying for 26/02 to 26/03 but the services are cancelled

Why am I forfeiting data I have already paid for?

I should not be forfeiting the 118GB day data as I have rightfully paid for it, it is my data that is left.

How do you expect me to use it all in 1 day?

The data should expire on 31 March 2025
