Vodacom de*****ing customers

I had a horrific experience migrating to Vodacom fibre last year, and after using the service for a couple of months, opted to revert to an ADSL line because the quality of the service was terrible. I sent the cancellation email at the end of November and received the usual automated "email received" response. In my cancellation email, I specifically detailed why I would not be honouring the 30 day cancellation window, and demanded that the contract be cancelled effective 1 December.

It is now 30 January, and my cellphone has been cut off because Vodacom has continued billing me for a fibre contract that I cancelled and have not used . I have just been told that even if I pay my cellphone account early, the service will not be reinstated.

To add insult to injury, I am unable to cancel my two month-to-month contracts with immediate effect, and will be billed for yet another service I am not using.
