Vodacom deduct more that double premium.

I am paying for a data contract for my father.

Today, vodacom decided to deduct more than double the premium on the account. The balance was R366 but they deducted R813.62 from my bank account.

I went to Vodacom, but they said that they cannot assist me, and that I must phone the accounts department.

I phoned them, but they do not want to assist me, because the account is my fathers. I told them that he is currently in hospital, and not available.

They still refused to help me. I told them that I am paying the account. No help.

They say that they must get authorization from him.

I told them that I am paying the account and that I did not authorize an increased amount to be paid. She could not answer me.

I then asked to speak to a person above them. She told me there is no one higher than her.

It is sad that a customer service person is the highest person you can talk to in a company.

Only good thing is that the contract is nearly finished. When the contract is done, it is the day that I am done with vodacom after using their services for many years.

Vodacom does not have customer services. I feel sorry for the poor few that actually want to work.
