Vodacom Debt

vodacom cancelled my contract for IPhone 7 Plus that was on red advantage and the total value on their system after cancellation was R19k and I continued paying the 19 k till the balance went to zero ,contacted Vodacom for settlement letter only to be told my account has been handed over to MBD collection agents I must speak with them and I contacted them for the first time and they told me VodAcom handed over 37K to them to collect ,,which is a total amazement ,,I Phone 7 plus worth over 20K and bearing in mind I already paid my contract for atleast a year ,I then dispute this amount I then get told between MBD and Vodacom that someone will send me billing statement for me and Vodacom says MBD and vicer versa nobody is assisting and you know debt collector and Vodacom agents all they know is your account is not fully paid yet I have a statement of account from Vodacom that say balance is R0.0

I then checked my credit profile to my amazement the balance listed is 49k .

I have Vodacom system that says account paid up .MBD wanting 39 k and credit bureau says 49K

Vodacom does not help ,MDB refers me back to Vodacom and telling me Vodacom should not have allowed me to pay the account

Account paid up but Vodacom refuses to close the account .
