Vodacom ******* Debit Order
Warning to Vodacom Fibre clients. My Vodacom Fibre was installed on 4 January 2023. No debit order was signed, and I monthly pay in R700 for my R699 package. This has been done for over a year now. .Suddenly on Thursday, 28 February at 22:30 a debit order for R692 went through my account by Vodacom Fibre. After the long weekend I contacted Vodacom & informed them that no debit order has been signed and that what they were doing was *******. Vodacom confirmed that no debit order authorisation is on their records. I asked them to stop any debit order going off my account again. Their accounts division promised to send me a SMS confirming that. After numerous calls regarding this, I still have not received such an SMS! I am concerned that as my account has now been loaded on to their monthly debit order run monthly debit orders will continue to go off.I can get nowhere with Vodacom. I have contacted my bank who want a written confirmation from Vodacom that they do not have a debit order for my bank account. debit order on my account. No such luck from Vodacom Fibre. There are negative implications for me, as debit orders going off a small savings account, will result in returned debit orders and charges by the bank and Vodacom. As a client, Vodacom Fibre does not allow you to speak directly with their accounts department. Very poor and ******* service from the relevant company.
